The Company will establish and implement a Safety Management program with special emphasis on hazard recognition and control, emergency procedures and health promotion.
The Company will implement a suitable Occupational Health programme, including provision of information on equipment and substances which are potentially injurious to health.

The Company is committed to provide a safety-conscious and competent workforce, and maintain a safe place of work, safe systems of work and safe equipment as required by legislation and best industrial practice. To support this commitment the Company will provide adequate training and supervision for every employee.

Occupational injuries are preventable. Every member of line management in the organisation is required to accept responsibility for the safety and health of each employee within his/her care.

Employees are expected to work safely, report hazards, defects, and to co-operate with their co-workers and with the Company in general in the achievement of an environment that is healthy and safe.
